Sic-Bo StrategySic-Bo is a fun-filled and exciting table game of chance which originated in ancient China. Sic-Bo is popular with people looking for a fun and relaxing form of online entertainment.
The game is played with three dice and a table layout which displays various dice totals and betting options. The object of the game is to guess the total count achieved by rolling or shaking the three dice. The player can bet on a single number or several and various combinations of numbers showing up on the three dice.
Winning hands (rolls of the dice) are not so difficult to achieve, but the amounts won, compared to the amounts invested, are not terribly attractive. When one is discussing a game of chance, it is extremely difficult to give or determine any real strategy. The best a player can do is to check out the odds and the house advantage for each bet. On many of the bets, the casino advantage can be as much as 30%, and even go as high as 45%, which means that the player is not making a lot of money even if the odds are big.
Here below are some samples of the Sic-Bo betting odds. All of them refer to totals resulting from the shaking of the three dice.

Small Bet (total from 4 to 10) - 1:1
Large Bet (total from 11 to 17) - 1:1
Bet on a Three Dice Total - the odds vary with the total the player has picked, from 62:1 to 6:1
Bet on a specific Triple - 180:1
Bet on a specific Double - 11:1
Bet on any Triple - 31:1
Traditionally, the Double and Triple bets are considered the worst in the game. Payoffs are marked right on the table, and the winning areas light up which is one of Sic-Bo's biggest attractions. |

Since Sic-Bo is essentially a game of chance, the best strategy is to stick with the bets that have the lowest house advantage. These are the Small and Large bets where the house advantage is between 2.8% to 3%. Although the odds are 1:1, these are still the best bets for smart players. However, any player who feels he is having a lucky streak can go for the table.
