What is Keno?
Keno is a fun and exciting chance game that can be played over the Internet. Most of the rules are the same in the video version as in the game played all over the world in casinos and lotteries. The games played on the Internet are becoming more and more popular as people discover they can have fun and even have the chance to win real money by playing online.
Keno is one of the simplest games to learn to play. In fact, winning depends more on luck than experience playing, so even if you have never played before, your odds of winning are the same as someone who has played for years.
Rules of Keno
When you play Keno, you will see a large board marked with the numbers 1 to 80 on your screen. You pick up to 15 numbers. Then, the computer will start selecting winning numbers. The amount you win depends on how many matches there are between the computer and the numbers you draw. The computer will draw twenty numbers, while you can pick up to fifteen.
To start, you have to first choose an amount to wager. You will see a button marked "Chip Selector Increase (+) or Decrease (-)." This enables you to select the exact amount you want to bet. Determine the number of credits you want to bet by the number next to the chip size indicator.
Now you are ready to pick your lucky Keno numbers. To select a number on the screen, mouse over the number and left click. The square that number is in will now be highlighted. If you decide that you don't want that number, then just left click again and the square will return to its original color. You are allowed to select up to fifteen squares.
After you have set you wager amount and selected your numbers, hit the "Click to Play" button. The game now starts.

As numbers are drawn, the corresponding squares light up. When all twenty numbers have been drawn, you will see how many matches you have and any amount you win will be automatically added to your credit total.
To play again, just hit the "clear" button. You are now ready to change your bet and select new squares.
How to Win at Keno
The amount you win depends on how much you bet and how many matches you have after the computer has drawn twenty numbers. How much can you win? If you pick one number, and that number is a match to one of the twenty picked by the computer, you will win three times your bet. So if you bet $10, you would win $30. If you pick the maximum 15 numbers and all of them are matches (extremely rare), you will win 10,000 times your bet. A $10 bet would give you $100,000!
So after deciding on your wager and your numbers, your only other decision is how many numbers you want to choose. Choosing more numbers gives you more chances to win, although the payouts will be lower. When you choose fewer numbers you decrease your chance of a match, but increase the amount you will win if you have a match. It all depends on how lucky you feel.
Here are some examples:
If you choose ten numbers and match 5, you will win three times the amount you wager, if you match seven numbers, the payout shoots up to ten times the amount. Remember the greater percentage of matches you have, the higher the payout. The really big payouts start when you match all but one number and you select more than ten numbers to bet on. Even a $1 bet can yield thousands if you get the matches.
